MLAs Hit Right Note for Charity

Gordie presents Times Colonist columnist Les Leyne with more than $600 in donations raised for the Times Colonist Christmas Fund. Gordie joined fellow MLAs George Abbott and Murray Coell, as well as Legislative staff, to “sing” on the CD “Seasons Greetings from the Raucous Caucus Choir.” The CD was sold for $10 or for a donation to not have to listen it. Funds are still being raised with all proceeds going to the charity.

Building Canada Together Announcement

Gordie joins Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Kevin Falcon and federal International Trade Minister Stockwell Day in Victoria to announce $110 million for 41 different infrastructure projects in smaller communities right across the province. The funding is a result of cooperation with the federal government through the Canada/B.C. Building Canada fund.
